Many Special Schools in the region provide a range of Outreach services to local mainstream schools in relation to the provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) in mainstream schools. This is certainly true in many of the Alliance partner schools for the Better Together Alliance and if you are reading this as a mainstream provider who would be interested in the support of your local special school I would suggest you contact the partner nearest your provision. http://www.bettertogetheralliance.co.uk/alliance-partners/
At the Better Together Alliance we believe provision can be enhanced by schools working together and have started a partnership with the Hampshire Outreach Practitioners Group based in Winchester. We are also forming a partnership with the Local Authority and with the National Autistic Society. We are proud to announce that the Better Together Alliance has been awarded the licence to provide Autism Education Trust training for schools in relation to training and support for children with Autistic Spectrum Condition. If you wish to find out more about such support please contact us at the Alliance at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. This package of support is quality assured by the National Autistic Society.
